Creating a congratulations card

When my friend secured a graduate job, I wanted to make a card to send to her. Here are the steps I took to make it!

First, I took several coloured pieces of card and outlined what I wanted on the front of the card, including writing out the word 'congratulations'. I then cut these out using a craft knife.

I then glued the individual pieces that make up items together, such as the graduate hat and the stickers on the suitcase.

I then got the main green card and positioned the other items in the place I wanted them. Then you just glue them down!

Wait for the glue to dry and it's done! I didn't get a picture but I also lined the inside with white cardboard as it makes it better to write on.
